Here is the announce:
The Architecture University of Turin (in Italy) is hosting a conference on Tuesday, June 13th, 2006 entitled: “Architecture Free/Open Source Software - How to communicate a project using free or open source software.”
The conference will cover several aspects of architectural project workflows and will focus primarily on use of graphic software such as Blender, Gimp, Inkscape, various rendering engines, and non-graphic software like Open Office.
The conference is open (no pun intended) and everyone is welcome to attend! The official announcement for the conference can be found here. The English version of the schedule can also be found here.
This is an opportunity you shouldn’t miss if you can get to the conference since Blender and other free and open source software are versatile tools for architectural design.
