kino 1.0.0


I wrote in another post about kino… i used it a lot to acquire video from my camera and some video editing.

Now the 1.0.0 version is here with many improvement and bugfix… the new interesting features is the ability to upload videos and movies to blib.tv a better support for jog/shuttle
and better video import.

Kino is a non-linear DV editor for GNU/Linux. It features excellent integration with IEEE-1394 for capture, VTR control, and recording back to the camera. It captures video to disk in Raw DV and AVI format, in both type-1 DV and type-2 DV (separate audio stream) encodings.
